Chemyunion Launches New Ingredients for Hair Shine & Acne Treatment

Both products are based on green chemistry and deliver proven performance.

Chemyunion has unveiled two new launches—ProShine and Mirance. Both products are based on green chemistry and deliver proven performance for hair shine and acne treatment, respectively.

ProShine

ProShine, by Chemyunion, is a vegan active, designed following the main precepts of Green Chemistry, to deliver intense shine and color enhancement in dyed, bleached and natural hair.

ProShine interacts with the main keratin structures of the hair fiber by forming a uniform molecular film with a high refractive index that is necessary for obtaining an intense shine. The interactions of ProShine with the amino acids of the hair fiber have been proven through in silico modulation.

ProShine is 100% plant-based and fully biodegradable. It can be used in shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, leave-ins, styling creams and finishing products.

Miracne

Miracne was developed as a three-in-one multifunctional active ingredient for acne treatment on both teenagers and adults.

It acts by working to reduce the levels of acne-causing bacteria (Cutibacterium acnes), the redness associated with acne lesions, and controlling sebum production. Created using a balanced, synergetic combination of propanediol, xylitol and caprylic acid, all components of Miracne come from renewable sources. This process avoids the use of toxic substances and adheres to many of the precepts of Green Chemistry.

Miracne is a vegan-active, cruelty-free, and no-preservatives ingredient that has been dermatologically tested and proven to be effective in reducing acne-causing bacteria within one minute and provide noticeable results in seven days.

Miracne is extremely active in low concentrations -between 0.5 and 1.0% and can be used in any type of product for the treatment of acne: soaps, lotions, tonics, serums, gels and even combined with other famous and keratolytic ingredients often used in cosmetics such as salicylic acid and lactic acid.
